1. what steps did it took to create this project in Adobe illustrator?

The steps I used to create my own robot was my imagination and the shape tools in Adobe illustrator. The first step was to plan out your robot, what would it look like? all that is where every person starts to struggle with first before making the actual character or anything. The second was to use shape tools and the curvature tool, in the shape tool section I used mostly Star and polygon tool because they offer more polygons than rectangle and sphere. but I did use them to make quick shapes. after all that I group some of the objects together and arranged some forward and back position to at least make it look natural and not pop out shape.

2. What are vector graphics? How do they differ from raster graphics?

vector graphics are geometric shapes points of lines, curves and polygons. The difference between raster and vector is that raster uses little pixels to create the image which makes the sides of the picture quality bad and pixelated, vector does not use any pixel format and uses polygons which what maintains those edges very sharp no matter what size it is.

3. In addition to Raster Vs Vector graphics, what are at least 3 major similarities between and difference between Adobe photoshop and Illustrator? 

They both have the same Ui layout format, same tool options and the workspace. The difference between them is that Ai use vector graphics and Ps uses raster graphics, photoshop is mainly creating, rendering anything and Ai is simply for creating shapes or creating simple characters.

4. what level of mastery does your project demonstrate?

I would say it meets the requirements, as shown in the robot arms and hands the curves look so off. not only that the robot lacks in detail in my opinion, what I mean by this is like for example the whole body being worn out (with color gray, rust, plants) and really I could have went all out making my robot very old but still hard working robot happily assisting human needs.
