1.What book did you decide to redesign the cover for? Why did you choose this book?
The book I chose to redesign was "The Seven Deadly Sins" manga book. The reason why I chose to redesign this book because I wanted to take a spin and translating it into modern design. have a little more detail than what is possible for hand written. how digital design can translate into modernizing the original design.

 
2. What parts of the plot did you use as inspiration for your book cover design?
I used the part where the main character in the story goes berserk mode and turns into monster. The reason why I chose this part as part of my inspiration because it helps define the meaning of "The lost vaynee" it gives mysterious vibe to the contents of the book that will give to the audience.
 
3. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in photoshop.
The steps it took for to create this project was having a design first. Next figuring out what materials and resource needed to create that design. Then after that was expanding it more than what was laid out first. It uses a lot of: Shape Tool

4.What was the easiest and what was the most challenging part of creating your cover?
The challenging part of this project was finding the correct resource & images that was appropriate for the cover book design and the consistency of the context.

Based on the learning target, "Students will redesign a cover for a famous book that appeals to a modern literacy audience by developing, proposing and refining artistic ideas, plans, prototypes and production processes for media arts productions.  " what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

I'd give my overall project a 2 because there's a lot of things that are not met or does not define the context of the book and its contents. There's also jagged outlines of the terrible masking I tried to perform. To make it short, it was very rushed and not a lot of thought out layout design.
